练习日小记

  我和队友们踏上了秋季学期的第二场比赛。经过6个小时的车程，我们来到了北卡罗来纳州的日落海滩。球场在北卡而我们住在南卡州，每天去打球都要跨越州界，但其实车程只有10分钟。这次比赛男队也来了，是这学期唯一一场和男队一起参加的活动。一般我们的比赛和训练都是男女队分开进行的，所以这次能一起”欺负”外校大家都很激动。为了增进感情明天第一天比赛晚餐后我们会去玩迷你高尔夫。

  今天是练习日天气非常热，有33度，但感觉上还要热的多。组委会为了保证打球速度在今天给我们安排了球车。虽然5个人一组，但只用四个半小时就完成了18洞。因为每个人打的距离不同，在试场的过程中，我们会互相看对方球的情况，这样打1个球看4个球，就等于练了5次。教练会站在三杆洞果岭的前中后，我们在发球台上用测距仪测出距离，记在积分卡上，晚上开队会的时候能派上用场。

  比赛前的每个晚上我们都会开会，会议分成几个部分，首先讲当地规则，然后分析球道。从第一洞到第十八洞，教练主持，哪里危险或要注意得我们来补充。每场比赛每个人会得到三个新Pro V1X，上轮成绩最好的人优先选球的号码。

  我们队有分多支持者的，这个蛋糕是其中一个粉丝给我们亲手做的。学校的颜色是黑金，这个蛋糕也是。（今天网慢，改天再传照片上来吧。队友们都准备睡觉了，明天再转播战况了。）队友看见我在写博客，又听说很多中国人都能看到，她们很激动也想写点东西给远在地球另一边的中国人看，下面一段是Kerri作品：

Hello!! My name is Kerri and I am one of Joy’s teammates here at Appalachian State University. I am going to write some in her blog and she is going to translate for all you peeps out there! We are at our second tournament of the fall semester right now. We are at Sunset Beach North Carolina. The tournament is called the Sea Trail Intercollegiate. There are 10 teams here and a lot of good competition. We are all very excited to get started and playing except it is very, very, very hot here. We got to use carts today during the practice round to make things go faster and also to speed up play. College golf tournaments take a very long time. Sometimes we have 6+ hour long rounds. We are staying in a really nice condo so all the girls can fit in the same place. It is nice so we aren’t in 3 hotel rooms. The boys team is also here. This is the only one the fall when we get to be here with the boys. We get to play putt putt with the boys. It is a boy-girl team and we are all playing against each other. This is my last year here so I’m a senior. But the other girls haven’t so they are all excited to play.
