我很喜欢的一首英文诗 - Foot Print In The Sand。在圣诞节来临的时候，重新翻译一下。

One night I dreamed a dream.
As I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to me and one to my Lord.

一天晚上我做了個夢。
夢見我和上帝併肩走在沙灘上。
在夜空裡閃爍著我人生場景的片段。
在每個場景中 我留意到在沙灘的兩對腳印，
一對是我的，另一對是上帝的。

After the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that at many times along the path of my life,
especially at the very lowest and saddest times,
there was only one set of footprints.

當最後一幕的人生場景在我面前閃過，
我回頭看著沙灘上的腳印。
我發現很多次在我人生道路上，
特别是人生最低潮或者最難過的時候，
只有一對腳印。

This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,
You'd walk with me all the way.
But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me."

這件事非常困擾著我，因此我问上帝。
"主呀! 你曾經說過当我決定跟隨著你,
你會從頭到尾陪著我ㄧ起走。
但我注意到多次我在人生最顛簸的時期，卻只有一對腳印
我不懂為什麼在我最需要你的時候，你卻離我而去"

He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you."

上帝轻声说，“我珍貴的孩子，我愛你  而絕對不會離開你
永远，绝对不会當你正在受苦難的时候。
而你只看見一對腳印，
那時是我背著你”。

今年圣诞节，我们在家没有出去旅行。今年大部分时间都没有在家。圣诞节便感受一下家的温度。

退休之后，好像没有感觉有空。每天依然忙碌。

南加州今年下过两场雨。预期的圣婴还没有降临。每天都有人打电话来做广告说要免费估价为我们的雨季做准备。其实天气还是很不错，花依然在开。每天压一点。

准备明年春天的个展。画了几个图样，制作一系列加州海滩场景。

这第一个，就被我拿来装饰成节日贺卡。

”沙滩“是我们南加州的一种树皮制作的。这个画面，也全部都是原色压花。
