亲爱的Eva，

谢谢你把这封邮件转给我们。它触动了我们的心。我给她回了一封信，同时附了几封照片给你和她一起分享。 

亲爱的angela,

非常感谢你的信和照片，我们愿意与你和天使之家一起分享张爱明的成长。他是如此特殊的一个小男孩，我们感到非常幸运能成为他的父母。我们能理解你是多么的思念他，因为我们也曾经是非常思念他。

ZAK在我们家里非常好，非常快乐，而且适应的非常好！他与我们相处时间越长，他就感觉越安全。从他看我们的眼神和交流的方式，我们能读懂他内心的感受。ZAK现在英文说得非常好，他能听懂我们说得任何一句话，而且能回应我们。但是我非常伤心的一点是，ZAK目前已经不再记得中文（普通话），我们有一个朋友是会讲普通话，大约一周之前她和ZAK讲普通话，但是他已经不能听懂她说的话，这一点让我感到很伤心。

我给ZAk看你发来的照片和那个你为他而做的蛋糕，他仍然记得你，他很喜欢这个蛋糕。ZAK几个月之前就一直问我们关于他的生日蛋糕，我想这个蛋糕一定是他一直等待的那个！我们今年少早了一点，为ZAk庆祝生日和庆祝中秋节（我给你们发了一张我们在院子里照的照片），我们在院子里举办了一个party，并且在树上挂了几个的灯笼。它是一个特别的夜晚，我们送给ZAK一个玩具吉他作为生日礼物，他非常喜欢。正如你所知，他非常有乐感。他学一些歌曲非常快，还经常唱给我们听。

现在ZAK每天下午都要去上学前班，他要坐黄色校车去学校，他非常喜欢。他经常是非常兴奋地背上她的背包去学校。我最高兴的事情就是，等他放学回家， 给他一个大大的拥抱。他与他的哥哥分享一个双人床，他们现在已经是好朋友了。他们非常愿意一起玩，ZAK在这里也非常高兴，在这里每一个遇到他的人都爱他，尤其是他的家庭。

我们发给你几张照片，一张ZAK的，一张是我们家庭的。谢谢你和其他人在我们的儿子生活在天使之家的那段时间，给予他的爱！它对于我们来说意味很多，但是更重要的是，它对ZAK来说意味着更多。我们会一直把你们放在我们的心里，为你们祈祷！

Thank you so much for forwarding this on to us. It touches our heart. I have a letter for Angela below as well as have attached some pictures for you to share with her.

 Dear Angela,

Thank you so much for your letter and the pictures.  We would love to share Zak’s growing up with you and Angel home. He is such a special little boy and we are so LUCKY to be his parents. I can understand how you miss him so much. I would too!! 

Zak is doing so well in our family. He is very happy and has fit in very well. The longer he is with us, the more secure he feels. I can tell by the way he looks at us and interacts with us. He speaks English really well now and understands everything we say to him and can answer back. I am sad to say he does not remember Mandarin anymore. We have a friend who speaks Mandarin and when she talked to him a week or so ago, he could not understand her. That makes me sad. 

I showed Zak your picture and the cake you made him. He remembers you and he loves the cake! He has been asking about his birthday cake for months and I think that must be what he was waiting for. J We celebrated his birthday and the moon festival a little early this year (I am sending a picture of what our yard looked like). We had a party outside and hung lanterns in our trees. It was a special night. Zak got a toy guitar for his birthday and he LOVES it. As you know he is very musical. He picks up songs so fast and is always singing to us. 

He goes to preschool in the afternoons now. He gets to ride a yellow school bus. He loves it. He is always very excited to put his backpack on and go to school. I am always glad to see him again when he gets home and give him a big hug. He shares a bunk bed with his brother and they are very good friends. They love to play together. He is very happy here and he is VERY LOVED by everyone he meets, but especially his family.

I am sending a few pictures. One of Zak and one of our family. Thank you for your prayers. THANK YOU  and other people for loving our little boy so much while he was in China. It means so much to us, but more importantly, it means so much to him. You are in our prayers and forever in our hearts.
