Learning Aims:

To get the general idea and some detailed information of “Oliver asks for more” and “ Dickens’ London”.

Learning Methods:

1. Use skimming and scanning method to finish the Self-learning part individually, meanwhile, preview new words of Module 3.

2. Discuss in groups to finish the Cooperation part.

Learning Procedures:

Step ISelf-learning:

Read the passage “Oliver asks for more(P.30-31), then finish the following exercise.

★★1.Judge whether each of the following statements is TRUE or FALSE.

(1).The warden, helped by two women, served the soup and bread from this pot at meal times. (   )

(2).Oliver Twist and his companions slowly starved for three months until finally, they became quite wild with hunger. (   )
