A teaching plan for SectionA 3a---3b
Teached by Li Miaojuan   November/24
Teaching aims:
1. To enable the students to learn the vocabulary and expressions by asking about prices.
2. To encourage the students to talk about clothing.
3. To get the students to learn how to thank someone politely and to be a polite customer.
4. To help the students improve their abilities of listening and speaking.
5. To enable the students to communicate with each other and help each other happily.
Teaching key points and difficulties:
1. Vocabulary:clerk,customer,help,want,welcome.
2. Language structures:
⑴What color is/are...?
⑵How much is/are..?
⑶It’s/They’re…dollar(s)/yuan.
⑷Can I help you?/May I help you?/What can I do for you?/
⑸What color do you want/like?
⑹Here you are.
⑺Thank you./Thanks./Thank you very much./Thanks a lot.
⑻You’re welcome.

5.Practice Do some exercise
Pracice the dialoges with the things given. Now let’s listen to the conversation and fill in the blanks. 听说读写能力的训练。
6.Shopping Yes,I want to help him.
I want to buy…for him.
Do a pair work using the new sentence structure with the pictures given.

 Now it’s very cold in the north. Some peple there live a hard life because of the bad weather.Look at this boy.There’s something wrong with his hands.Do you want to help him? How? Ok, let’s go to the store and buy something for him. 购物。利用所学句型进行对话,练习购物句型。
7.Mak a survey and report Make a survey and report what you buy for the boy.

Ask your parents what clothes they like. Write a dialogue about shopping.Preview the next period of lesson and finish the exercise. We should save money,because money doesn’t come easy.
We should help the people in trouble. 对学生进行情感态度的培养,提倡节俭,节约用钱;提倡一方有难,八方支援。
