一 设计指导思想
如何让学生学习的过程充满快乐，培养学生兴趣，培养成就感，培养自信心，成为每个英语教师在设计课程时必须考虑的东西。《Go for it》这本教材倡导“任务型”的教学模式以培养学生综合运用英语的能力。教师应该从实际生活中寻找任务，让学生在做中学，在学中体验，充分参与到课堂活动中来。 “让学生做事”是设计课堂教学的主要原则，也是设计课堂任务的主要思路。
二 学情分析
 本课是八年级下第五单元的第二部分，八年级的学生已经很熟悉“Go for it!”教材及任务型教学模式。大部分学生通过两年的学习掌握了大量的词汇和基本的语法知识。学生在Section A已经学习了条件状语从句的基本用法和时态规则。在Section B 部分主要是运用目标语言谈论结果并给出建议。
三 内容分析
  本课是本单元的第二部分，授课内容是继续学习和运用if引导的条件状语从句。目标语言学会使用if条件句谈论结果，并给出建议。

八 教学反思：
本次活动面向全班，面向全体同学，教师是组织者、引导者；学生的任务是开放性的，学生是活动的主体，他们以小组为单位，运用所学的内容创设情境，进行对话练习，并结合听力、笔头训练，既培养了他们的口语表达能力，又培养了他们的合作精神，同时对听、写的能力也得到了提高，为学生提供实际运用英语的机会。由于全班同学的英语水平参差不齐，有的基础一般的同学进行口语对话还存在一定的困难。因此，必须采取分层递进的教学方法，对这部分同学相应地降低要求，只要他们肯开口说，就给予一定的肯定和鼓励，使他们真正树立起学习英语的信心，调动他们的积极性。另外：
1. 导入过程中学生的思维比较散，不容易引到本课的话题。
2. 写作部分有些学生不知道写什么，如何写，要给出更多的信息和指导。
