二、学习要求

1. It is reported that China plans to tale part in an international, flight to explore Mars.

3. You can tell which planet is Mars because it is bright red in the night sky.

 4. The gravity on the surface of Mare is about one third as strong as it is on the earth.

5. scientists are searching for more information about Mars every year.

 

 

三、本节课的学习要点及考点

重点句型:

1.      It is reported that….据报道….如:it is reported that the man died in a car accident.据报道那个人死于车祸,it is said that….据说….

2.      如:it is said that we’ll leave for home on February 14th.据说我们二月十四日将回家.

Plan “计划,打算,”即可作名词也可作动词,作名词时是可数名词如:I have a plan 我有一个计划.作动词时其结构为plan to do sth ,计划做某事,如:we are planning to have a party.我们打算举行聚会.

3. at a distance of 相隔.at a distance,在远处,如:the moon goes around the earth at a distance of 380000km 月球在距地球38万千米的地方绕地球旋转.the police followed him at a distance,警察远远的跟着他.at a distance也可说 in the distance,在远处.

4. tell在这里为 “辨别,区别,认出”常和can, could, be able to连用,it was so dark I couldn’t tell it was you,天太暗了,我没有认出是你.

5. One third as strong as….相当于….的三分之一强度,half as big as….像…一半一样大.two times as long as …像….两倍一样长如:the population of this city is two times as large as that city.这个城市的人口是那个城市的两倍.

6. dry 在这里是动词,意思为使….干燥, 弄干

Dry one’s eyes. 擦干眼泪

7. base on 以….为根据,常用于被动语态,如:the book is based on teaching book 那本书是根据教材改编的.

8. decide to do sth. 决定做某事.

  They decided to go at once.

2. 火星在相隔大约经两亿两千八百万千米的地方绕着太阳旋转.

3. 你能辨别出哪颗行星是火星因为在夜空中,它呈现出明亮的红色.

4. 火星表面的引力大约相当于地球表面的引力的三分之一.

5. 科学家们每年都在搜索更多关于火星的信息.

(二).课堂探究

含情态动词的被动语态

含情态动词的被动语态是情态动词和被动语态中的重要内容,也是中考的重要考点,学习时应注意以下三点:

一、理解含情态动词的被动语态的概念

含情态动词的被动语态说明某个被动性动作所反映出的感情和态度。初中阶段可用于被动语态的情态动词有can,may,must,need,should等,分别表示“能够被……”,“可以被……”,“必须被……”,“需要被……“,应该被……”等。

二、掌握含情态动词的被动语态的不同句式的变换方法

含情态动词的被动语态的疑问句、否定句的变化均借助于情态动词完成。

(一)一般疑问句

直接将陈述句被动语态中的情态动词提前。如:

Must this work be done at once?这项工作必须立即完成吗?

Should your homework be finished before six?你的家庭作业应在六点前完成吗?

(二)特殊疑问句

由疑问词加上一般疑问句被动语态构成。如:

When must this work be done?这工作必须在什么时候完成?

Where can the lost book be found?这本失踪的书能在什么地方被找到?

(三)反意疑问句

借助情态动词构成附加疑问部分。如:

This bridge can be built next year,can't it?这座桥明年能建成,是吗?

This book shouldn't be taken out of the library,should it?这本书不应被带出图书馆,是吗?

(四)否定句

在情态动词后面加上not或never即可,但must表“必要”时否定式为needn't。如:

This work needn't be done at once.这项工作没必要立即做。

This dustbin shouldn't be put here.这个垃圾箱不应放在这儿。

三、含情态动词的被动语态的一般疑问句的回答

含情态动词的被动语态的一般疑问句的回答应保留原情态动词,但must表“必须”时,其否定回答应用needn't,need表“必要”时,其肯定回答应用must。如:

—Should my exercises be finished today?我的作业应在今天完成吗?

—Yes,they should.是的,应在今天完成。

(No,they shouldn't.不,不应在今天完成。)

—Must his exercise book be handed in at once?他的练习本必须立即上交吗?

—Yes,it must.是的,必须立即上交。

(No,it needn't.不,不必立即上交。)

—Need he be operated on at once?他必须立即手术吗?

—Yes,he must.是的,他必须。

(No,he needn't.不,他不必。)

Exercises:

用被动语态将下列各句译成英语。

1.这本书应该译成多国文字。

2.这辆小汽车启动(start)不了。

3.———这封信必须立即寄出吗?

———是的,应立即寄出。(不,不应立即寄出。)

4.这次会议可在哪儿举行?

5.这道题解起来很容易,是吗?

Keys:

1.This book should be translated into many foreign languages.

2.This car can't be started.

3.—Must this letter be posted at once?

   —Yes,it must.(No,it needn't.)

(三) 提高 拓展的练习

句型转换
