这是一张英联合王国或英国的地图。

【巧解句构】这是一个“主+系+表”的简单句。or是连词，用于陈述句，意为“或者”，连接并列的句子成分。

【联想发散】①or连接的若是作主语，谓语动词应与邻近的主语在人称和数上保持一致，这叫“就近原则”。如：

Tom or I am wrong. 或者汤姆或者我错了。

You or he is going to the Great Wall tomorrow. 或者你或者他明天去长城。

②连词or的其它一些主要用法：

a. 用于疑问句，表选择关系，意为“还是”。如：

Would you like orange juice or coffee? 你想喝桔汁还是咖啡？

b. 用于否定句，否定其连接的前后两者，意为“也不”。如：

He can’t read or write. 他不会读也不会写。

c. 用于祈使句表转折，意为“否则，要不然”。如：

Please be quick, or you’ll be late for class.. 快点儿，要不你就上课迟到了。

【要点剖析】①the same……as意为“与……的……相同”，same前面常与定冠词the连用。the same与as中间可接名词。如：

He’s the same age as me. She is wearing the same chothes as her sister.

还可直接构成the asme as，意为“与……相同”其反义词为be different from.如：

Her clothes are the same as mine.她的衣服与我的一样。

②the flag of the U.S.意为“美国的国旗”，of意为“……的”通常用于表达无生命物质的所有格。如：

One of the legs of my desk is broken. 我桌子的一条腿坏了。

This is a picture of my family. 这是我家的一张照片。
