一、学习目标:
1.

二、预习导学:
1. 阅读教材P.2-3。
2.Language points:
( 1 ). some表示“一些”的用法:
⑴some常用于肯定句和肯定回答中;否定句及疑问句中常用any来表示。
⑵some也可用于希望得到肯定回答的疑问句中。如:
①我能再吃些食物吗?
Can I have ________ ________ food?
②你想要喝些牛奶吗?
Would you like _______ milk?
③你想要来一些吗?
Do you want ________?
( 2 ). something to drink
喝的东西
( 3 ). There’s nothing else in the fridge.
①—你还有什么要说的吗? —什么也没有了。
②包里还有其他东西吗?
③他想买其他的东西。
[教你一招]other也可以表示“其他的”意思,用来修饰名词,放在名词之前。
他有其他的问题要问。
He has ________ questions to ask.
( 4 ). honest
该词中h不发音,所以它前面的冠词使用an, 类似的还有hour这一词。
( 5 ). friendly是由名词friend加后缀-ly形成的形容词。又如:
( 6 ). funny是由名称fun双写n加后缀-y构成的形容词。又如:
( 7 ). make me happy 使我开心
( 8 ). keep secrets 保密
( 9 ). share my joy 分享我的快乐

1.阅读对话,回答问题,检查对kind和share的理解:

Is there anything else in the fridge?
What does Hobo want?
2.引入分享和友谊的概念,问如下问题:
Are Eddie and Hobo good friends?
Who do you like more? Why?
Welcome to the unit
1.阅读part A,理解语境,完成练习,然后校对答案,纠正错误。。
2.请能力较强的同学讨论一个好朋友需具备的其他品质。
3.朗读part B中所列单词,检查词义理解情况。区别quite important和very important。
4.请同学思考What qualities of a good friend are important to you? 完成练习。

1.复习描述人物外表和性格的形容词,运用形容词描述人物的相貌和性格,了解比较级和最高级的用法。略读课文掌握大意,跳读课文查找细节,能根据关键词和语境猜测大意。

3.语言点:
1)I want to tell you about my best friend Betty .
want to do sth. 想做某事 ,也可以说would like to do sth.

和……一样

这是一个现在完成时的句子,其谓语动词的结构是have/has +过去分词。表示“做某事已经多长时间了”。
4)She is willing to share things with her friends .
be willing to do sth. 乐意、自愿做某事
5)She is also very helpful and is ready to help people any time .
helpful “有帮助的”,是help的形容词
be ready to do sth. 乐意做某事 。这里ready 不是“准备好的”,而是“愿意”。
6)She always gives seats to people in need on the bus .
in need
7)travel around the world 周游世界
around the world “全世界”, 同意词组还有:all over the world , in the world
8) grow up 成长
,长大
9)We may not see each other often by then ,but we will always be best friends .

called 这里是call 的过去分词,意为“被叫做…,名叫…”

Step 1 . 通过和学生谈论亲戚朋友,复习主要词汇。
Step 2. 全班分成三组,独立阅读课文,每组一篇,并划出其中生词。
Step 3. 板书Appearance 和 Personality两个标题,学生再看课文一遍,找出与标题对应的形容词,并请学生将其写在标题下。
Step 4. 听录音朗读课文。
Step 5.课堂操练,互相问答:
