Unit 1 Cycling is more dangerous than swimming

教学流程：

1.   情景导入：

a.       Warming up — Free talk: Talk about favourite sport, favourite sports star

b.      Presentation – Show some pictures of some sports stars in Olympics and ask : Who is your favourite star? Why?

2.      知识新授：

a.       Show some pictures and learn the new words.

b.      Finish Activity 1 and 2

c.       find the opposite words and finish Activity 3

d.      Activity 4 Listen and answer some questions then Check the sports they like in Activity 5.

           e. Language notes: be good at; The pattern of the comparative  degree.

3.      情景操练：

a.       Pairs work:

A: Do you like running or cycling?

B: I like cycling.

A: Why?

B: Because cycling is more relaxing than running.

A: Yes, and I think cycling is more exciting, too.

b.      Group work:

              Competition:

Divide the class into four groups to say the comparative sentences one by one. Which group say the most sentences is the winner.

4.      情景回归：

a.       Look at the pictures and complete the sentences with the names of sports and adjectives. 

b.      Summary and homework
