1．          How much for one donut? 多少钱一个面包圈？

1）          how much意为“多少”，在不同的语境中，它有两种含义。

a. 用于询问价格。例如：

How much is the pen? 这支钢笔多少钱？

How much are these apples? 这些苹果多少钱？

How much for one hot dog? 多少钱一个热狗？

b. 用于询问不可数名词的量，后面可接不可数名词。例如：

“Here is some water.” “How much?” “这儿有些水。” “有多少？”

How much rice is there in the bag? 袋子里有多少米？

2）          介词for在句中表交换，意为“以……的金额，对于（…….物品）”。例如：

How much is it for a bike? 买辆自行车需要多少钱？

You can buy the pen for 10 Yuan. 你可以花10元钱买到这支钢笔。

2.I’ll take twelve, please! 我要买12个！

1）          I’ll是I will的缩写形式。Will常用于一般将来时中， 表示“将……”，它在句子中不能单独作谓语，后面需接动词原形，它适用于各种人称和数。在疑问句中，把will置于句首；在否定句中，需在will后加not。我们在后面还要详细学习will与一般将来时。这里略作介绍。 例如：

I’ll go to bed at 10:00 today. 今天我要在10点睡觉。

She will have lunch at school on Monday. 她周一将在学校吃午饭。

Will you have some water? 你要喝水吗？

We will not (won’t ) go to school on Sunday. 我们星期天将不上课。

2）          动词take在句中的意思是“买”， 再如：

I will take three apples. 我将买三个苹果。

He will buy two hot dogs. 他将买两个热狗。

另外，take是英语中非常活跃的一个词，在不同的语境中含义不同。在以后的语言材料中，我们还会不断地学习。下面介绍它的常用意思和用法。

1．         作“拿，取，抓”讲。例如：

He takes his coat and goes to school.他拿着外套去上学了。

I take him by the arm. 我抓住他的胳膊。

b. 作“把（物）拿去，把（人）带去，携带”讲。例如：

I take my umbrella with me. 我带着伞。

Take the new books to your classroom. 把这些新书拿到你们教室去。

My father often takes me to the zoo on Sunday. 星期天，爸爸常带我去动物园。

c. 作“花费；需要（时间）“讲。例如：

It takes me two hours to do my homework. 我做作业要用两个小时。

It will take him one hour to walk there. 他步行去那里要用一个小时的时间。

2.     It’s lunch time. 现在是午饭时间。

在英语中，it可以用来指时间，距离，气候等，在译成中文时可省略。如：

It’s five o’clock now. 现在5点了。（不必译出）

It is cold today. 今天（天气）很冷。（不必译出）

“What day is it today?” “It’s Thursday.”

“今天星期几？”“星期四。”（不必译出）

It’s two miles from here to our school.

从这到我们学校有两公里远。（不必译出）

3.     Are you ready to order? 你准备好点菜了吗？

1）          句中的ready为形容词，意为 “预备（准备）好的”。

ready不可置于名词前作定语。 ready常与be的各种形式搭配使用，有不同的用法可表示不同的含义。

a. be ready意为“准备好”。例如：

Is supper ready? 晚饭准备好了吗？

We are ready for work. 我们准备好了。

a.      be ready for 意为“做好的准备”。例如：

We are ready for work. 我们已准备好动手工作。

Everything is ready for the party. 有关聚会的一切都准备好了。

c. 意为“已准备好做”。例如：

I’m ready to go. 我已准备出发了。

They are ready to do their work.他们已准备好作业了。

2）          句中的作动词，意为“订购”。例如：

We will order a meal. 我们想叫饭菜。

They will order the books. 他们要订购那些书。
