詠水仙

我像是那寂寞的浮雲，
漂流過萬個山崗，
偶然看見成群的水仙，
像灑滿了遍地的金黃；
或棲身樹下﹐或綻放湖旁，
搖曳的花枝隨風舞蕩。

看那似銀河的星斗，
閃爍著萬丈的光芒。
滿佈那無邊的天際，
也沿著湖畔散放。
那萬紫千紅的花蕊，
正嬉戲漫舞，賣弄輕妝。

那千嬌百媚的湖波弄影，
怎比得水仙花的舞步嬌嬈。
我有快樂的伴侶相依，
怎不教人心情歡暢。
我癡癡地想﹐凝凝地望，
眼前的景象令我終生難忘！

多少次了，每當我孤獨無依，
心頭湧出了無限的憂傷，
這難忘的美景便重回我的腦際，
輕輕地撫慰我寂寞的心房。
我的靈魂便重新甦醒，
伴隨那水仙舞步歡暢。

威亷'華茲華斯(William Wordsworth, 1770-1850)，是英國最有名的「湖畔派」浪漫主義詩人，這首「詠水仙」是他的代表作。此詩措詞優雅，情景交融，物我交感。詩人將自己比作孤獨的浮雲，偶然間看到了美麗的水仙，便似找到了人間的伴侶。詩人以水仙描盡出他的內心世界，以繁星喻水仙，將人間天上聯成一氣。想起李白詩：雲想衣裳花想容，春風拂檻露華濃，若非群玉山頭見，會向瑤台月下逢。正是：「若待上林花似錦，出門俱是看花人。」(楊巨源)。詩人感覺自己伴隨水仙同樂共舞，喻示人愛自然，必得其樂。

Bright Flower！whose home is every where,
A Pilgrim bold in Nature's care,
And all the long year through the heir
Of joy or sorrow；
Methinks that there abides in thee
Some concord with humanity,
Given to no other Flower I see
The forest thorough!

Is it that Man is soon deprest?
A thoughtless Thing! who, once unblest,
Does little on his memory rest,
Or on his reason,
And Thou would'st teach him how to find
A shelter under every wind.
A hope for times that are unkind
And every season?

Thou wander'st the wide world about,
Uncheck'd by pride or scrupulous doubt,
