After they finished eating, Luis and Judy went to pick mushroom for fun. And Lisa followed Mike to climb a mountain. When they were at the top of the mountain Lisa looked down. All the cars and people were as small as ants. “You know what,” said Mike, “I always came here when I was sad. And people said that if you are standing at a tall place, calling out the people’s name you miss, they can see you.”

Lisa remembered that her Dad died in a car crash last year. So she cried:”Dad, Dad-----”

She wish her dad can really see her. She wanted her dad to see that Lisa had changed: She had friends and happiness now.

“Let’s go home together.” said the other three friends to Mike. But Mike’s cell phone rang. “Wait a minute.” He said:”Hello, Mom! What’s wrong? What did you say?” Mike’s cell phone dropped on the floor and he ran away.

“What’s wrong with him?” Judy asked, picking up Mike’s phone.

“Never mind. Let’s go home.” said Luis.

The next day, Mike wasn’t at school. So were Judy and Luis. Lisa was very confused. After the first class, Judy and Luis rushed in: ”Lisa!” And they pulled her out into the hall way.

“Mike is missing!” said Luis. “His Dad is in jail now. And when Mike noticed he was so surprised and sad so now he is missing. His mother texted me and called me for all night because her son is missing!”

Judy was crying:”We have searched for all the places, game center, mall, train station and even air port!”

“What did you say?! Wait…wait. Isn’t his Das a police officer? Why is he in jail now?”

“Because, because…” Judy cried harder and Luis didn’t say anything.

“Because of what?” Lisa shook Luis’s body.

“Lisa, don’t be angry with Mike, It’s not his fault.”

“Remenber your Dad died in a car crash, but no one saw how the car crash happened, so no one knew who crashed you Dad…” said Judy.

“So then what?” Lisa was controlling herself not to shout.

“But a few days ago…” Luis continued, ”other police found out the car crash one year ago, that the person who had ran away with the police officer----Mike’s Dad helped! The man who died that is just your dad! ”

Lisa was very surprised, she ran away.

“Lisa, don’t hate Mike, It’s not his fault!” cried Judy.
