Dairy—Mountain of Mist and Soul

7.29 noon, at the restaurant

We came here by car, so it wasn’t that kind of comfortable. But it is already the best. The mountain is between Beijing and Hebei, so the road isn’t as good as the ones in the city. And I can’t listen to radio since the signal is too bad in the mountain. Well, I never really like countryside, especially a poor one. This trip is all about photography, waterfall, mist and hoping to lose some weight by climbing. We ll go to see the waterfall right after the lunch. Flies keep flying around me and buzzing. It soooo annoying!!

7.29 evening, hotel room

We climbed down to the waterfall called the waterfall of nine dragons. It was said that in the qing density, this place—the mountain, were forbidden. That made this place full of trees and free form the suffering of human hands. The weather was really hot. But the water was still ice-cold. The water cooled down the nearby place. And lots of visitors were resting there. The waterfall was not very wide, but high enough. On the way back, we didn’t have enough time for a one-hour-climb, and everyone were tired. So we took the cable car. The view was not as great as before though. That s why they said that, life is a climb, but only when you do climb it, the view will be great~

Then we went to Tower of Xianren by car, and then climbed up a little. The stone tower was just simple tones of rocks add together. Not much to see. But there was a small waterfall near it. Witch I climbed near it and got my clothes all wet.

We went to bed early after dinner, cause tomorrow we were going to woke up early and went to see the sun rays.

7.30 morning, hotel room

We got up at 4 and drove to the highest top around. We got into a very big fog. And within no light, we could hardly see anything. So we drove very slowly. I was afraid that I d missed the sun rays, but when we got there, the fog hadn’t fade away. So we could see nothing but fog. No wonder the mountain was named the mountain of mist and soul. But it was really disappointing.

It starts raining outside. And the electric stopped. This place really sucks!
