First time using my new laptop. And that made it possible to write my dairies at any place any time I want.It is a little weird to write about China in English. And there may be some mistakes. Whatever~

7.8 on the plane

We waited on the plane for like one hour. And it finally started to take off. It ll be dinner time when we arrive. This plane suck! It not only make us waited for so long, but also shake all the time. But the trip is expectful. I think. i m gonna watch some movie or so.

7.8 hotel room

It s already time for dinner when we got here. This hotel is fantastic. One room=a study room (living room) +a toilet room+ a bedroom+ a bathroom. And we have three TVs. There s even one in the bathroom right in front of the bathtub, so we wont get bored when we are having a bath. We can watch CNN, BBC, French 5, National Geography and two programs from Japan and Korean. And I can surf on the internet. It s the best hotel ever! I had sushi for dinner~ Oh, and today I noticed that Shanghai has many clean free public WC, that is way more better than Beijing.

7.9 hotel room

We went to Oriental Pearl TV Tower and Shanghai Expo today afternoon and evening. I thought Beijing has a lot of people. But now I know Shanghai is really the Waiting Area. We waited for more than an hour to get into the Tower. But then I found out that I had to wait for the security check. Then we had to wait for the elevator. This is so insane! There isnt much to see in the tower. Just some under view. But there s a reach-out plastic walking lot. It quiet cool since you can see all those buildings 30meters right below your feet. Many people are too scared to come up there~^-^. We could see Jinmao Building clearly from up there. And there s a comparison of La Tour Effie and Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Though Effie is shorter, I still love it more~:-P. After sight-seeing, we went straight down to the lobby. The puff was really yummy~

We ate lunch at Fangzheng Square near the Tower. Then we took a bus and went to Expo. It s far so I listen to Jesse McCartney s songs all the way~ It was already a quarter to 5 when we got there. So we bought the night tickets and waited for the gates to open. There s a long line but we made it just a little after 5. We went in through the 8th gate. So we saw the USA Pavilion first. We waited for a long long time again. And in the Pavilion there were mainly short movies. One after another. The effects are cool. Then we went to the Brazil Pavilion. This one is ok. We got in quiet easily. The most impressive one was one room that full of soccer on the top. Even Brazil had been kicked out in the World Cup, Brazil Soccer is still classic~ The next one was Canada. The bicycle game was famous but I didn’t gotta a chance to play. Then we walked to the Europe area. On the way, I saw a pavilion with a sentence “Small but beautiful” on the outside wall. I figured out it was Luxembourg. There were hotdogs selling outside the pavilion. So I bought one. It cost 30rmb. Things are really expensive in the expo park. We saw a lot of pavilion after. But didn’t got in—there were too many people. I was expecting a lot to see the French pavilion, but it had as many people as England pavilion. So I gave up. But I bought a Belgium Ice-cream and two waffles—30+20*2rmb. The ice-cream tasted like cookie. Weird~ I was very tired but I gathered my strength and went to Chinese Pavilion by Expo bus—which we also had to wait. We took a picture and then went home. The Macau Pavilion besides it was interesting—it seemed to have a big rabbit head and a rabbit tail on it. It s so cute~ I was exhausted when I got back to the hotel. So I planned to go straight to bed without a bath. But then I found out that the TV s National Geography Program was playing a short documentary film called “Is it real? Vampires”. So I watched it over and then went to bed~

7.10 hotel room

Today—Town God’s Temple+ the Bund. We stayed in in the moring, for we were too tired yesterday. But we went to Town God’s Temple for lunch. It has the most traditional snacks of Shanghai. Though it s called Town God’s Temple, I hadnt seen any temple around. It actually a big area’s name. there are many markets and snake sellers in the Town God’s  Temple. We can buy a lot of new things as well as traditional Shanghai things. It s really just like Wangfujing in beijing. The Pan fried pork bun and Juicy Steamed Dumplings are the most famous snacks. I tried them and it was really good. I bought some neckless as gifts for Georgina and Jia. And my mom bought me neckless made of amber with a starfish or a scorpion in it. I am obessed with scorpion since I was born scorpio~ I bought a ice-cream in Mcdonld. But there were too many people so I waited for a long time. In this hand, beijing is so much better. I never waited for more than 3 minuted for a ice-cream. We bought a lot of traditional snacks to bring back to beijing~

After some rest, we went to the Bund by a 3-wheel-becycle. We sat on the ground with many strangers, waiting for the night comes. When the day ends, building started to light up. Everyone started to take pictures. Different colours of light mixed in the water, ships came over and made the water swing. It was really beaitiful. it very cool by the river. So not only visitors but also Shanghai people came here to spent the evening. We could see the TV tower and Jinmiao Biulding that were across the river. We went back to Town God’s Temple for dinner later. Then we just got back to hotel by taxi in the night.

7.11 in the car

We are leaving for Suzhou now. and it ll took us 1 hour. It s raining outside. So today s trip wont be too hard~

7.11 room

The rain contiuned. It s bigger than I thought. Small rain ll make less people from the visiting area, but big rain means—no going out. So after a tiny vistit to 500 Arhat, we went to one of my mom’s classmates’ home—that s where we were going to live in for 1 night. Since the rain was so big, we stayed in for the rest of the day. There s a running mechine. And I ran for about a quarter—cost me 70 calories.

7.12 room

We went to the The Humble Administrator's Garden in the morning. It s one of the most classic Suzhou Gradens. And it s so large that I doubted the people used to live here could find thier way. The view are beautiful, but everywhere  looked the same. It s very confusing, and boring. But it is said that you can see this place full of flowers at any season. That s cool~ Since we had to catch a train at 13 o’clock, we only stayed in for 2 hours. I bought some fans and a doll made of grass in it.

After lunch, we went straight to the train station. We took the rapid transit railway to Wuxi. And it only took us 10 minuties~ It s really fast~

Mom’s middle school teacher was waiting for us when we arrived. We went to her home and rest in the afternoon. We went to see some night view after dinner. It was raining. The groud was full of water and shined in the evening. We went down to the lake Tai. And the lake as well as the sky was drak blue, nearly black. Some light from the opsite shore shined like twikle stars, and mixed with the lake. It s too beautiful to describe.

There werent much lights in the evening. Unlike Beijing or Shanghai, so many neon lamp shines in different colors, Wuxi was so quiet. Like a 18-year-old countryside girl, at night, she just rest and show her beauty.

7.13 Back in Beijing

We went to Lake Tai on the morning. We went there early so there werent too many people. We got on a boat and went to Xian Isaland first. The view was quiet beautiful. But the lake was full of green alga. That disgusted me! But mom’s teacher—local people said it was a lot better than before. I couldn’t imagine.

Since I was only interested in water and the lake was so disgusting, we just left after visiting Xian Isaland. The lunch was really good. We had oncomelania. I never eat oncomelania in Beijing because of the fishy smell. But I loved the one here. It tasted so fresh.

We left for the train station then. We took a rapid transit train back to Shanghai. Then took a plane and went straight back to Beijing.

And that’s the end of this travel and my travel diary~
