到了深秋，梧桐更兼细雨
点滴都是忧伤，和愁绪——
你的出现，总和这些词语浸透在一起
 
in late autumn, drizzle drops on phoenix trees
and every drop tells grief and melancholy ——
your presence is always soaked with these words
 
但有时，也有另一种情况：
季节之手点燃了半坡枫叶
你把它擦拭得更亮
 
yet sometimes there's also another case ——
the season's hand ignites maple leaves at hillside
and you polish and make them much brighter

When it comes to late autumn,
The parasol trees wither,
And sadder still, expose to the gloomy drizzles,
Each and every drop telling of distress and despondent thought --
Things are immersed in such dreariness every time you come your way.

Yet, sometimes there is another case, where
While Nature’s hand sets half slope of maples ablaze like fire,
You rinse them brighter.
