Green Children

    It is important, as we gaze upon missed steps and a rocky past of being the stewards of the environment, that we put proper emphasis on the future generations. 

Children are amazing.  As we find where we’ve erred, it is up to us to educate our children in our shortcomings.  The greatest gift that we can give to our future generations will not be a fixed planet. 

The world is dynamic and constantly changing and it will bring new challenges to overcome long past our own lifetimes.  The greatest gift will be our science, our education to leave with them as a tool to see how to best observe the world. 

Through education they will see that we are merely one entity amongst the millions of species that all must co-exist. As they learn, as they develop more sophisticated moral compasses than we could ever dream, we can revel in their greatness, in their nurturing hearts.  They can inspire, where we have missed.  But we must make the first steps.  We must open our eyes and observe.  We must relay what we’ve learned to them. 

As we continue to expand, it will be their understanding and innovations that will allow our humanity to continue and flourish.

                           绿色与教育           

     当我们回顾人类作为自然环境的主宰者曾经犯过的错误和经历的波折时，我们深感对于下一代的教育是十分重要的。孩子们拥有令人惊讶的能力。当我们发现自己所犯的错误时，我们有责任将教训传授给自己的孩子，使他们不再犯相同的错误。

    我们所能给予下一代的最好的礼物并不是一个一成不变的星球，因为世界是动态的，它不停地变化，而且在我们漫长的一生中会迎接许多新的挑战。因此，科学和教育是我们能够留给孩子们的最棒的礼物，能成为他们观察世界的最好的工具。通过教育，他们会发现自己只是共同生存在这个星球上的万千物种中的一员。

    而当他们不断学习，拥有了越来越成熟的道德观及和谐处世之道时，我们不仅将为他们的出色和成熟而欢欣，我们也将从他们取得的成功中认识和反省曾经的失误。但是，我们必须迈出第一步，必须睁开双眼去观察，去学习。一代接一代的理解和创新，是人类生生不息、持续发展和文明繁荣的必须。
