致信中国合唱团期待分享合唱技巧
我非常期待本次的中国之行，也很期待与热爱合唱的朋友们相聚在青岛。作为一名美国合唱专家，我拥有35年的合唱指挥经验，并指挥过许多不同年龄、不同风格的合唱团，同时，我也拥有25年的专业音乐教育经验。在青岛，我将与大家分享不同的合唱指挥、歌唱内容：
1.
如何教导识谱能力较弱的年轻合唱歌手演绎不同曲目；
2.
热身练习，以及如何训练并保持健康的发音习惯；
3.
如何通过不同步骤，教导青年歌手在合唱团和谐歌唱；
4.
如何训练不同年龄阶段的合唱团演绎、诠释文艺复兴时期牧歌。
此外，我希望与参加本次训练营的另外两名导师以及现场合唱团一起，共同探讨关于合唱声音训练技巧、指挥技巧、曲目演绎方式等关于合唱的各种技巧。
我很期待5月10日-12日在青岛与您相见。

I look forward to my China visit and time with conductors in
Qingdao. As a choral specialist in the United
States, I have 35 years experience conducting choirs of all ages
and 25 years experience teaching music educators.
While in Qingdao, I will present four sessions for
conductors: 1) A session on ways to teach choral
repertoire to young singers with little music-reading
abilities. 2) A session on vocal warm-ups that
includes movement to facilitate healthy singing.
3) A sequence of activities necessary for young
singers to learn to sing in harmony. 4) A session
on performing Renaissance madrigals with any choir, elementary
through adult. In addition to these sessions, I
look forward to working with the choirs and conductors in
attendance on choral ensemble skills, vocal techniques, and
conducting techniques. I hope to see you in a few weeks!
