致中国合唱音乐界朋友的一封信

亲爱的朋友们，
    相信各位都已受邀参加2009年10 月12 日-10 月18 日在中国绍兴举办的第四届西方合唱音乐指挥大师研修班活动。
    我与世界知名教授安德·杰· 托马斯先生将与各位在此次活动相约。托马斯先生是位美国黑人指挥家，他在福音灵歌和宗教音乐编曲方面尤为盛名。10 月之行也将是托马斯先生首次访问中国。
    同时，我也向大家隆重介绍我的中国同事孟大鹏先生，他曾在多次研修班中与我共事。
    这次研修班将给大家提供一次难得的学习机会，让所有参与者深入学习到欧洲合唱音乐和美国合唱音乐。快来体会古典与流行的完美碰撞吧！
   另一个值得各位关注的是，大家可以学习到如何提高音乐表现力的合唱方法和指挥技艺。当然，我们也会给各位指点参加世界合唱比赛的成功秘诀！

Dear friend and colleague,
I hope you have noticed that INTERKULTUR arranges a seminar week in the World Choir Games city Shaoxing 12-18 Ocober this year.
As an international lecturer I will this time be joined by the world famous American Professor of choral music André J Thomas. Mr Thomas, a black American choral director, is very wellknown for his arrangements of gospel and spirituals and is active as a lecturer all over the world. It will be the first time he visits China.
I will also be supported by my Chinese colleauge Meng Dapeng from Beijing, who has worked with me in earlier seminars.
The seminar week will offer an excellent oportunity to learn about European as well as American choral music.
It will span from classical choral music to popular!
Another focus will be on choral methods and conducting as well as learning the choir to improve its rhytmic and melodic strengths. With the World Choir Games ahead, we will also give you hints about successful participation in choral competitions.
I hope to see you in Shaoxing in October!
