《博伽梵歌》(于伽梵文譯本)6.41:

prpya puya-kit lokn uhitv hhvat sam
huchn hrmat gehe yoga-bhraho ’bhijyate
不成功瑜伽行者(yoga-bhraha)投生于(abhijyate)虔诚的(huchn)繁荣的(hr-mat)家庭中(gehe),居住了(uhitv)很多(hhvat)年(sam)后,又获得(prpya)出生在善良的(puya-kit)人家(lokn)。
prpya—attain; puya-kitm—of the virtuous; lokn—abodes; uhitv—after dwelling; hhvat—many; sam—ages; huchnm—of the pious; hr-matm—of the prosperous; gehe—in the house; yoga-bhraha—the unsuccessful yogis; abhijyate—take birth;

atha v yoginm eva kule bhavati dhmatm
etad dhi durlabhatara loke janma yad diham
或者(atha v),他刚好(eva)出生(bhavati)在智慧的(dh-matm)瑜伽士(yoginm)家(kule)里,哪个(yat)像这样(diham)在世上(loke)出生(janma),这个(etat)肯定(hi)很稀有的(durlabha-tara)。

tatra ta buddhi-sanyoga labhate paurva-dehikam
yatate cha tato bhya sansiddhau kuru-nandana
于是(tatra)他又恢复(sanyoga)从前世(paurva-dehikam)获得(labhate)那个(ta)智慧(buddhi),以及(cha)此后(tata)为了完善(sansiddhau)再(bhya)奋斗(yatate),库茹(kuru)后裔(nandana)啊!
tatra—there; tam—that; buddhi-sanyogam—reawaken their wisdom; labhate—obtains; paurva-dehikam—from the previous lives; yatate—strives; cha—and; tata—thereafter; bhya—again; sansiddhau—for perfection; kuru-nandana—Arjun, descendant of the Kurus

prvbhysena tenaiva hriyate hyavaho ’pi sa
jijñsur api yogasya habda-brahmtivartate
由于(tena)前世(prva)修行(abhysena)的影响,也(api)肯定(eva)确实(hi)自动(avaha)吸引(hriyate)他(sa),只要(api)有心(jijñsur)学瑜伽(yogasya),他就能超越(ativartate)声(habda)梵(brahma)。

prayatnd yatamnas tu yog sanhuddha-kilbiha
aneka-janma-sansiddhas tato yti par gatim
苦行(prayatnt)和(tu)努力(yatamna),瑜伽行者(yog)洗净(sanhuddha)罪恶(kilbiha),经过许多(aneka)出生(janma),臻于完美(sansiddhas),然后(tata)达到(yti)至高(par)目标(gatim)。

jñnibhyo ’pi mato ’dhika
karmibhyah chdhiko yog
tasmd yog bhavrjuna
瑜伽行者(yog)比苦行僧(tapasvibhyo)优越(adhika),经过考虑(mata)甚至(api)比学者(jñnibhya)优越的(adhika),以及(cha)瑜伽行者(yog)比行动者(karmibhyah)优越(adhika),
所以(tasmt)阿周那(arjuna),成为(bhava)瑜伽行者(yog)吧。

yoginm api sarveh mad-gatenntar-tman
hraddhvn bhajate yo m sa me yuktatamo mata
不管怎样(api),在各种各类的(sarveh)所有瑜伽行者(yoginm)中,谁(ya)怀着内在(anta)心意(tman)专心(mat-gatena)于我(m),极大的信心(hraddh-vn)投入奉献(bhajate),他(sa)被我(me)认为(mata)是最高级的瑜伽行者(yukta-tama)。
