Lahti Poster Triennial 2014

Lahti Art Museum 13 June - 28 September 2014

The traditional Lahti Poster Biennial has become an International Lahti Poster Triennial. The Triennial exhibition, arranged every third year, brings the latest top posters of the world to Lahti Art Museum. The exhibition organized by Poster Museum Lahti will be on display at Lahti Art Museum from 13 June till 28 September 2014. Exhibitions accompanying the Poster Triennial will also be on view at Lahti Historical Museum and Lahti market place.

The digital registration to the Poster Triennial ended on 30 November, 2013.  Approximately 2400 posters by more than 1500 designers from all over the world were offered for the exhibition. A national pre-jury selected 327 posters from 38 countries to be displayed in the exhibition. The award winning posters will be chosen and the results of the competition will be announced in June. The members the International Jury awarding  the prizes are Ulla Aartomaa (Finland), Jianping He (Germany / China), Radovan Jenko (Slovenia), Anette Lenz (France/Germany) and Shin Matsunaga (Japan).

The patron for Lahti Poster Triennial is Mr Sauli Niinistö, President of the Republic of Finland.
