CNN称MH370如坠毁或遇水，

    CNN于4月19日报导，据资深马来西亚航空人士透露，调查人员已经认定失踪的MH370装备了四个应急定位发射机(ELT)，分别位于前部、尾部、机身和座舱，这四个ELT，均是按飞机坠毁或遇水即向一颗应急卫星发报飞机所在地点信号来设计的。

    调查人员目前正困惑于为何ELT看来没有激活?如有激活的话，所发信号为何没被卫星收到?

    ELT是贮存数据的，黑匣子是贮存机舱工作人员的语音的。两者均配有脉冲信号发送器P信号。MH370的ELT被设计成坠毁或遇水时，自动激活Ping信号发送，向指定的一颗应急卫星发出地点方位信息。而澳洲之前所测的四次Ping信号，被认定是来自于MH370黑匣子的信号，故一周多来在收到这些Ping信号的海域搜索中。

    

      网友议论：“既然卫星没收到ELT信号，则入水说可疑。那么之前所认定的所测到PING来自于MH370黑匣子之说未必可靠"。

    No comment from Malaysia Airlines

    Malaysia Airlines has declined to answer CNN""""s questions about the ELTs and other matters pertaining to the flight, which vanished six weeks ago after taking off shortly after midnight from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

    The airline said it could not comment on"any questions that relate to information held by other authorities and/or fall under the jurisdiction of the ongoing investigation...."
