Country of languorous rhythms , busy canals along which vegetable and flower markets thrive on floating bargetes , and ancient temples and priests in saffron robes exist on every corner . In the mountains , elephants work to clear teak forests exactly as they used to in centuries past . I have been to Thailand many times to visit because I am a admirer of Thai culture , Thai people , Thai music and especially the incomparable , spicy Thai food .

The heart of the country is the central plain watered by the Menam Ghao Phraya , and rice grows plentifully here . Immortalized in the world  by the movie Anna and The king taken from the book Anna and theKing of Siam ( Thailand was formerly known as Siam) the national religion of Buddhism has done much to shape the gentle land and its gentle and charming people .

Thailand , where almost everyone , as they say , has some Chinese blood . I think that`s probably one  of the reasons why there is a long history of friendship between Thailand and China .
