c. 强调状语

   状语的种类有很多，如时间状语、地点状语、原因状语、方式状语、目的状语、频率状语、with/without结构做状语等等。而在考试里面对于本部分的考查则以考查时间状语、地点状语、原因状语和方式状语最为常见。下面就举例一一说明。

（1）时间状语

      He left his hometown at fifteen.

    →It was at fifteen that he left his hometown.

（2）地点状语

     He was born in this room.

   →It was in this room that he was born.

（3）原因状语

      He was late because of the heavy snow.

    →It was because of the heavy snow that he was late.

（4）方式状语

     We went to the zoo by bus.

   →It was by bus that we went to the zoo.

d. 强调宾语补足语

     We painted the door green.

→ It was green that we painted the door.
