After two weeks of training camp, it is obvious that this year's Rockets team is much different from last year's. Last year we were a great defensive team that played at a slower pace. This year, we are a very up-tempo team. When you cheer for the Rockets this year, you will find our new style of play very exciting. If you are a fan of the NBA, you probably remember the Sacramento Kings from a few years ago. They were a great team that ran Coach Adelman's offensive philosophy very efficiently. It is very exciting for our team because we have so many smart offensive players. TMac is obviously a gifted passer, but I think that Yao is a very underrated passer. He will be put into situations this year where he will be a great playmaker for us.

The key for our team will be to remember the defensive principles from last year and add them to the new exciting offense. You must have balance in the NBA to be successful. We did not have enough balance to win big last year, but we believe that this year we do!
