Is appearance important?

      Appearance is the first impression that you show to others. People judge you by it when they haven’t known you yet. So, do you think is it important?

        Why I talk about this topic? Because some of my friends care about it. I mean my friends care about other’s “face”. They like to have a handsome boyfriend or a pretty girlfriend.

        Appearance is not only people’s looks, but their dressing.

        We cannot decide our innate face as we got it from our parents. However, some people would like to have good looks, they made the plastic surgery. I cannot to say it is good or not. Some people look happy as they got good looks after made the plastic surgery. It makes them have self-confidence. But, some people’s surgeries were failed. They are not only unhappy but also got worse in their looks. That is really terrible. Besides, maybe the plastic surgery will bring some problems to your health some time later. So, some people propose “Natural Beauty”.

        Actually, our appearance can be changed better without surgery. The point is your dressing.  Some people have good looks, but they don’t know how to dress. Some people don’t have good looks, but they know how to dress themselves up. So they look good. Dressing yourself is important, I think. When you are going to have an interview or to meet someone you first time to meet, your dressing is the first impression that you show to people.

I have read a book which is talking about dressing. It said there is a woman who be promoted by her company, one of the reasons is that she dresses properly than other colleagues. So, it is important to dress you up in some occasions.

        The good look makes people like to get together with you. But, it is just an appearance. The most important is your self-cultivation. Also, your personality is the one of the reasons people like to get together with you or not. So, dress up properly and pay attention to your self-cultivation, you will be welcome. Even you are not a handsome or pretty person by innate face.

      Anyway, what I want to say is, my friends, don’t just look at other’s “face”. Maybe someone who hasn’t good looks, but he/she has inner beauty. And he/she treats you nicer than the handsome/pretty one. Also, dressing is important. It is like to make up by cosmetic. It makes your appearance and  temperament better.

      Now, with the high development of network, many people make friends on net. Usually after chatting for a period of time, they will find a real place to meet each other. The dinosaur should be a kind of giant animal which extincted 65 million years ago, but be quoted to describe the ugly girls online today. I don't think it's good to do so. In fact, it's somewhat a discrimination to girls. The shadowy communication always gives one a nice imagination, but it's not the girl's fault. Like the song of Richie Jen's Desperate Sashimi. Though it seems that it is the Sashimi who is the victim, in my opinion, it is himself that place too much expectation on little xuanxuan. If he can regard little xuanxuan correctly, he won't be so disappointed.
