affect  影响 感动

affect的一个最直接的意思，就是影响，比如说新闻里面常说:这次的灾害的影响暂时无法预计。It's hard to measure the affect,

对自然界的影响是affect,对人也是，比如说别人给你道歉，说对不起老古上次讲课没有给你当托鼓掌，讲砸了吧，你就可以很自豪地说，No! It doesn't affect me at all.”

思想上，情感上的慢慢感化和影响也是affect.

伏尔泰曾经谈到什么是好的艺术，艺术不是被了解和知道的，而是被感知和感动人的。

It is not sufficient to see and to know the beauty of a work. We must feel and be affected by it.

当然如果一个人被外界社会影响了affected ，这个人就变成“做作的，假装的”，比如说一个做作的微笑，就是 an affected smile

当黑人民权运动家马克路德金在面对白人社会要求他停止非暴力不合作抵抗运动的时候，他回答说：

不管你是直接感化我，还是通过我间接感化所有人，我永远不会变的正常，除非你变的正常。这就是现实现实的互动相关。

这就话成为了对暴政和不合理的最好座右铭。事隔多年依然掷地有声。
