通过渔民我们得知，鱼鹰捕鱼并非一年四季，只有每年11月至来年3月，四个月里一条船可以有两三万的收入，而其他七八个月里，鱼鹰们在休养生息。

为什么在寒冬里用鱼鹰捕鱼呢，原来是冬日湖下水里缺氧，鱼儿会到上层来呼吸，外加天气寒冷，动作迟钝，容易被捉，尤其是在大风雪天里，正是捕鱼的好天气。
