Amongst all forms of discrimination in life, the one against the "smallness" is the most depressing. To confront the "greatness", the importance of "smallness" has to be proved first, yet it will be easily accused of "making a fuss about nothing". The discrimination against the "smallness" or the ignorance of small details therefore leads the designers in China to blindly worship the "bigness". Under the surface of rapid development in China, the size of community blocks, buildings, streets or public spaces has become larger than before, while the orignial dynamism and traditional street life are gradually degenerated even disppeared. 

Avoiding big techenical terms and heavy philosopy theories, but using everyday language to discuss the significance of the "smallness" in design.
