Some people are born with the belief that they are the masters of their own lives, while others feel that they are at the mercy of fate. I dare say that the confidence deep in your mind can help you for a lifelong time. It will undoubtedly influence you in every tail.

“God helps them that help themselves.” This well-known proverb from The Way to Wealth impressed me most.

        Certainly, you can trust in God for his sincerity and universal love. You may resort to him whenever you are in trouble or getting through any suffering. He is the one maybe never deny giving help to all those within his reach. Yet turn to God will not suffice for God is not an eternal helper but yourself. Believe in yourself is what counts. You must always be open-minded to the ways he chooses to help you. And most of the time the way he helps you may require some work on your part. That is being confident of you.

        In other words, you can not be idle, inactive or slothful, and commitment, strong will as well as perseverance through anything are may be the key for character and your faith. Remember, everything what happens in your life is of worth, even if the adversity. You are tortured then you grow up. So be confident without any grumbling about the misfortune and anything you do you should do with good cheer. Your own egos are your downfall. Trust in yourself that you can get through them without any difficulty. Persist in a goal and keep NO.1 in your mind. Benjamin Franklin also mentioned that “He that falls in love with himself has no rivals.” I’d like to set Thomas Edison for example, if he did not persevere in his testing and gave up in the middle of the process of seeking materials for a light bulb, may be a light world would be seen hundreds of years later. It is just this kind of strong will help him eradicate his rivals.

        God is the good shepherd that looks after you and keeps you safe, but he still protects them who trust in themselves.
