When I am in trouble, I will always think above…how does God think about it? I am sure He cares for me and the trouble is sure to pass and there will always be a good ending. Because He is good. We are not perfect and He is perfect. This kind of thinking make me feel elevated and keep me above the trouble that I have. How to avoid trouble in life altogether? For me specifically, I need to control my tongue. Speak less, listen more. Speak wisely. Say things edifying people. No criticizing on people. Be kind and gentle. Laugh about myself. But troubles are unavoidable. Troubles keep human humble…Otherwise, people may not feel a need to pray. We are like kids. Only when we fall and hurt ourselves and cry that we call our moms for help and stay inside their arms.

Am I a good husband? Do I love her enough and does she feel it? How could I help when she is frustrated with her job going nowhere? Am I a good father? How could I become a great father?

Am I a good follower of Christ? I am no different. I spend a lot of time watching stocks…I bought another apartment for investment and keep worrying how to maximize the return. Teacher says, those who gives his life will he gain life. I don’t even look at the beggars in the street. I only called upon Lord when myself is in trouble. I could feel a sense of being called when I feel that I could make a great preacher…only pride and vanity….not a true calling.

Is this job worthwhile? Will I feel a sense of accomplishment when I get to 40, which is only a couple of years away. Should I take this job which will put me on the road 4 hours every day easily? Does it mean something that after 2 years I could tell people that I am a plant leader? Could I make an impact on the 25 people’s life in the plant? Or do they care who I am?
