本片聚焦四川省成都市都江堰市一所普通学校——新建小学，在中国2008年5·12大地震发生时，该所学校遭遇毁灭性跨塌时，学生家长、学校教师、社会民众在第一时间积极展开营救，以及后来的国家武警官兵进行援救到第三天结束的现场记录。同时结合网络下载的相关视频、图片，给观众立体的呈现了新建小学面临灾难的各种可能性。

This film is focusing on an ordinary school - Xinjian elementary school in Dujiangyan city, Sichuan province. During the great earthquake on 12^thMay, 2008, it completely collapsed. When the disaster happened, the pupils' parents, the school's teachers and the local population vigorously launched the rescue, as well as later the national police officers, whose rescue attempts finished on the third day. This piece focuses on their field notes, combining related videos and pictures from the internet, presenting the viewer with various kinds of possibilities of the Xinjian primary school facing the disaster.
