She held me in arms and cried

        [1] I was lucky to narrowly escape the earthquake. But I did not know whether my parents were okay.

        [2] I felt my heart pulsate with the aftershock. It was such a tough time, waiting for the news of my parents.

         [3] Four hours later, my mom walked through the mess and reached the school from my home tens of kilometers away. The moment she saw me, she held me in her arms and cried. Then I asked her about my dad, I felt so relieved when I heard her say, “He is alright”. Maybe I am too selfish, but at that moment, that was what I worried about most.

        [4] I saw my dad after a short while. He arrived driving a forklift. He was the second one who came with equipment among the relief forces. I felt at ease when I saw him, and I felt comforted seeing him come to help. We only exchanged one short sentence before he went to help others.

        [5] Dad, do you know how much I worry about you? It is raining again and you don’t wear enough. Houses can collapse, but you cannot, you have to support the whole family.

“妈妈抱着我拼命地哭！

        [1] 我非常幸运地从地震中逃了出来。但我不知道我的父母是否安然无恙？

        [2] 我感觉到自己的心和余震在一起震动！等待父母平安讯息的那段时间是那样的难熬。

        [3] 四小时以后，我妈妈穿越了地震后的塌方和废墟，步行了几十公里从家乡来到了我们学校，她一看到我，就抱住我拼命地哭。我立即就问，爸爸怎么样；当妈妈告诉我：“他也没事！”，那时我才放下心来。或许，我有点自私，但是在那种时候，爸爸的安全确实是我最担心的事情。

        [4] 过了一会儿，我就看到爸爸，他开了一辆工程车过来，在脱险的民众中，他是第二个带着救援设备来的人。看到爸爸的到来，终于可以放心了，而且，看到爸爸是赶来救援的，心里更加的踏实，我们只是说了几句话，爸爸就赶去做救援工作了。

        [5] 爸爸，你知道我有多么担心你吗？外面又在下雨了，而你又穿得那么少。房子可以跨掉，但是你不能跨掉，因为你是我们全家的顶梁柱！
