“爱上这一晚 ICS洋春晚”是上海外语频道为虎年春节特别奉献的一台大型综艺节目，也是沪上第一台最具国际化元素的春节晚会。传统的新春佳节融入浓浓的西方文化，中西合璧，相得益彰。来自不同国家和地区的中外明星济济一堂，而ICS大型原创歌舞“世博之光”更是把整台晚会带到了最高潮，在中外文化的激情碰撞中为2010年上海世博会献上喝彩。值得一提的是，晚会中外籍嘉宾的演出大多带有中国元素，而华人明星则更多地用外语演绎节目，突显出了中外文化的交融。整场晚会以“爱·团圆”为主题，呈现出了“中外一家亲”的喜庆、祥和气氛。

“洋春晚”的线下活动从去年就已经开始。上海外语频道不仅和花木、虹桥、碧云等国际社区联手进行国际商圈和国际居民区的推广活动，还和交大、东华、财大等沪上多家高校合作积极招募多才多艺的留学生的参与。09年12月中旬，在来福士广场举行的海选，更是吸引了来自法国、美国、巴哈马、哈萨克斯坦等12个国家的外籍友人，他们尽情展现才艺，同时也为“洋春晚”的成功举办进行了预热。

东华大学的留学生柯森在海选中的一曲“今夜无人入眠”在海选中一鸣惊人，直接被洋春晚导演组相中。柯森从小对音乐就充满热情，而对于中国文化的兴趣更是吸引他越过重洋来到上海。如今，能说一口流利中文的柯森表示要留在上海教书，看一看2010年举世瞩目的上海世博会，更好地融入这座他热爱的城市。

全国最大的某视频网站之一将全程同步播出ICS“洋春晚”。多家港台、东南亚地区电视台也将播出该档节目，向全球播出上海有史以来第一次最具国际化特色的“洋春晚”。

The ICS 2010 Spring Festival Gala was a grand party to celebrate the arrival of the traditional Chinese Year of Tiger, making it Shanghai's first-ever internationally recognized "Spring Festival Gala. The combination of traditional Chinese New Year and western culture created an interactive and unique programming style, where stars from both China and many other countries gathered and presented wonderful performances. The Glory of the World Expo pushes the gala to a new high, cheering for the 2010 Shanghai Expo in this super cultural salad bowl. Worth mentioning is most of the foreign performers speak Chinese while Chinese guests apply some western touches in return, demonstrating the blending of the two cultures.

In the months leading up to The ICS 2010 Spring Festival Gala, ICS had been promoting this event by marketing to Shanghai communities with large percentages of overseas residents, such as the Hong Qiao and Jin Qiao areas. Besides, ICS also cooperated with Jiaotong, Donghua, and Shanghai University of Finance & Economics to select talented overseas students. In December 2009, a selection was held in Raffles City. Performers from the US, France, the Bahamas, Kazakhstan, and 12 other countries took part with great enthusiasm and helped to warm up the whole process.

Keson Tinker, an international student from Donghua University, was selected by the direction group to perform in the International Spring Festival Gala right after his stunning performance of “Nessun Dorma”. Keson showed his talent in music since childhood, and his strong interest in Chinese culture had led him all the way to Shanghai. And now, he can speak Chinese fluently and is willing to live and teach in Shanghai. Looking forward to the 2010 Shanghai Expo, Keson wanted to be better integrated into Shanghai, the city he deeply loves.

The Spring Festival Gala was broadcast in its entirety simultaneously on ICS, one of the biggest video websites, as well as various overseas broadcasting companies in Hong Kong, Taiwan and South-East Asia, making it Shanghai's first-ever internationally recognized "Spring Festival Gala".
