Yet another warm gathering
bringing compassion and well wishes to Shanghai’s aging community!
Inspired by Marriott’s “Spirit to Serve the Community”,
Renaissance Yangtze Shanghai Hotel’s General Manager Rauf Malik
with his executive staff and Chinese culinary team paid a visit
once again to Hongqiao Senior Citizen House, where they personally
delivered a delicious Renaissance feast. Even those confined at
home can still enjoy the benefits of a 5-star dining
experience!
In celebration of “Double Nine
Day”, a festival falling on the ninth day of the ninth lunar
month, and regarded as very auspicious, Chinese Executive Chef Wong
and his team expressed their gratitude to the elderly by
sympathetically catering to their health, special tastes and needs
for softer food.
The special guests feasted on a
delicate, nutritional set menu including the Chef’s signature
Rice with Mushroom and Preserved Pork surely helping them
reminisce back to warm hometown memories and get-togethers with
families. Surely a happy day for all!
