Marriott International, Inc.
has expanded its portfolio in China with the opening of the
300-room Renaissance Wuhan Hotel under a management agreement with
Hubei Energy Sources Group Co., Ltd. The hotel is the first
Marriott property Wuhan City, Hubei Province and the 24th in
China.
Located in the dynamic business
district of Wuchang, one of Wuhan’s fastest developing districts,
the elegant 22-story Renaissance Wuhan Hotel is situated along the
east side of the Yangtze River and within close proximity of the
scenic East Lake. Wuhan Tianhe International Airport is located
approximately 35km from the hotel.

addition of our first hotel in Central China and welcoming the
Renaissance Wuhan Hotel to our growing portfolio in China,” said
Ed Fuller, president and managing director of international lodging
for Marriott International.
A haven for discerning
travelers, the Renaissance Wuhan Hotel features 278 deluxe guest
rooms, 16 suites, five apartments and one presidential suite. Each
stylish guestroom offers well-appointed amenities including plush
bedding, individually controlled air-conditioning, broadband
internet access, glass work desk, and separate bathtub and shower.
The Renaissance Club Lounge, located on the 21st floor, is
exclusive to Club Floor guests and offers spectacular views as well
as complimentary continental breakfast, evening canapés and
cocktails and wireless internet access.
The Renaissance Wuhan Hotel
offers an exciting array of restaurants and lounges serving an
extensive range of local and international cuisines. The
Renaissance Brasserie offers a “five senses” experience with live
cooking stations of authentic international flavors and local
favorites. The Wan Li Chinese Restaurant is a rich and inviting
contemporary Chinese restaurant featuring 11 elegantly designed
private rooms complete with plasma televisions. Wan Li specializes
in Cantonese cuisine as well as authentic Hubei specialties. The
Wuhan Bar & Lounge is the perfect place to end the day and
offers live entertainment nightly.
For meetings and events, the
hotel boasts state-of-the-art banquet and conference facilities on
the 3rd floor offering 1,372 sq meters of meeting space. The
stylish grand ballroom offers 577 sq feet of space and vaulted
ceilings.
Additional luxurious amenities
include an indoor heated pool, health club with state-of-the-art
exercise equipment, massage service, beauty salon, cold plunge
pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.
