晚宴的高潮是令人着迷的世界经典歌剧演绎。从意大利罗马、新加坡和香港特地赶来的艺术家Valeria
Ferri, Marco Frusoni, Alessandra Volpe, Giovanni Leccese, Elena
Olivia, Angelo Marenzi, Lorraine Nawa Jones, Cristina
Giannelli和Federico Benetti一展歌喉，同钢琴演奏家Ingrid
Chen及两名印尼著名的歌唱家Christopher Abimanyu 、Linda
Sitinjak共同演绎经典歌剧和意大利以及印尼名曲，将音乐与文化完美的融合与升华。
此次共有920名来宾参与了这场视听觉盛宴。来宾们环坐一旁，在品味美酒珍馐的同时，聆听宛如天籁之音的美妙演出。应观众要求，所有的艺术家又再次登台演唱了数首那不勒斯民歌：Funiculi,
Funicula', Santa Lucia, Torna a Sorrento, O Paese do sole, Core
n’grato, "La Traviata” 中的Brindisi和O Sole Mio。
让所有的本地观众为之惊艳和倾倒的是，在歌剧的尾声，艺术家们倾情演唱了印尼的国歌Pusaka,
观众们报以热烈的掌声。整场晚会可谓是文化与艺术的双重享受！
The prominent Hotel Mulia
Senayan, Jakarta - Indonesia proudly presented an “Opera Night
Gala Dinner” at the majestic Grand Ballroom on April
14th, 2007. The “Opera Night” was an event that
further complements the Hotel’s reputation for special events,
renowned luxury and exquisite comfort which merited numerous awards
and accolades.
Literally, means “a work of
art”, Hotel Mulia Senayan’s “Opera Night” was most certainly
depict the magic of opera. It was a night of an ultimate
unsurpassed experience that was simply elite, elegant and exquisite
with magnificent repertoire from distinguished opera singers of the
world and Indonesia as well.
Guests were indulged with a
cocktail reception and an exquisite 6-course Gala Dinner that
captivated even the most discriminating connoisseurs. Dinner
started with a PRELUDIO of fresh salad, accompanied with a DUETTO
of a mouthwatering appetizer and an OVERTURE of an appetizing
seafood dish. Moreover, an INTERMEZZO of delectable sherbet and a
SYMPHONY of a sumptuous main course and close with a FINALE of
savory dessert. Arrays of carefully selected and fine champagne,
red and white wines, cognac, and grappa further complemented each
appetizing course.
The highlight of the evening was
the magical entertainment performance of nine notable Italian opera
singers who had staged the world spanning over several continents,
from Rome, Italy to Singapore and Hong Kong; namely Valeria Ferri,
Marco Frusoni, Alessandra Volpe, Giovanni Leccese, Elena Olivia,
Angelo Marenzi, Lorraine Nawa Jones, Cristina Giannelli, and
Federico Benetti. The performance was accompanied
by the skillful fingers of Ingrid Chen on the piano and two
Indonesian reputable Opera Singers, Christopher Abimanyu and Linda
Sitinjak who sang several Indonesian & Italian notable
songs.
920 guests attended the Opera
Night gala dinner. The attendees sat on a round dining table,
enjoying the immaculate vocal quality of the singers right after
dining and while sipping the selection of wines. At the encore the
Neapolitan songs sang by whole singers; Funiculi, Funicula', Santa
Lucia, Torna a Sorrento, O Paese do sole, Core n’grato, Brindisi
from "La Traviata” and O Sole Mio. To mesmerize
the local audience, at the finale all the opera singers performed
together singing the national song, Indonesia Pusaka by Ismail
Marzuki and got a very big round of applause. An evening of high
cultural and musical entertainment.
