Japan’s first Conrad hotel, the Conrad Tokyo, recently hosted Sony Ericsson’s Partners Conference, an annual event held in a different country each year by the mobile telephone industry-leader. 
Arthur C Huang, Director of Sony Ericsson Marketing Communications, explained his decision to select the hotel which opened less than a year ago, “We were looking for somewhere unique and interesting to make our conference special.  We invite our key customers from all over Asia-Pacific to this two-day event, so it is important that every aspect is well taken care of.  The Conrad Tokyo distinguished itself from every other hotel in Tokyo from their genuinely warm welcome to their ‘no problem’ approach to our requests.” 
Described as “stellar in its own right” and included on Condé Nast Traveler’s (May 2006) Tenth Annual Hot List of Top New Hotels as well as listed on Australian Gourmet Traveller’s ‘Best of the Best Hotels’ (April 2006), the Conrad Tokyo has quickly established a reputation as the conference and function venue of choice in Japan……
