 直击考点:

  常考的形式为内部电子邮件;

  写作目的多为告知信息,请求,解释;

1. 文章结构

题目会给出三个提示点,作文需要把这三点内容全部覆盖到。可以一个要点一句话,一句话的长度控制在15个字左右。一般来说,三个要点要完成三个功能:告知事项,扩充信息,强调或补充。

语言要准确、简洁,且不能照搬题目中的原词原句。可以通过以下方式对题目中的表达进行转换:

Day10 报告-Marketing: Sponsorship


商务报告的结构一般分为以下四部分:introduction,findings,conclusion,recommendation。当然这四部分并不是固定的,考生需要根据题目要求灵活调整。除此之外,考生也可以使用个性化的小标题,或者不使用小标题。

Introduction简述商务报告的背景;

Findings列出事实依据、理由;

Conclusion(s) 根据事实进行推理分析,得出结论;

Recommendation(s) 根据结论,给出建议,计划实现的目标,以及实现目标的具体办法。

引言部分主要向读者介绍报告的写作目的。写作目的应该清晰明了,并尽量用一句话概括。常用句型:

结论部分用于表达通过分析得出的深层次的观点。结论部分也应该非常简洁。

Your company employs an office cleaning service to clean its offices every evening. Your company is dissatisfied with the service, and you have been asked to write a letter to the office cleaning service.

• saying what effect this has on clients visiting the office

• outlining what action you intend to take if the service does not improve.


Dear Madam,

I am writing to express my concern about the quality level of cleaning services provided by your company to Robust & Co. There have been numerous events which resulted in our disappointment in Cleaner's World level of quality, so allow me to name a few.

First of all the litter is not being picked up from all the garbage bins in our building. This results in an unbearable amount of waste paper in our rooms.

In addition, corridor floors are swept only once a month and we find it unacceptable.

Moreover, one of your staff was reported cleaning LCD computer monitors with liquids completely inappropriate for that purpose. Of course this has left many of our LCD monitors badly damaged.

The most important issue I would like to discuss with you is numerous reports of missing documents. Apparently, and not coincidentally, there is always a notable increase in the number of such reports after the weekly clean-up of our offices.

All the above issues have a very deep impact on our clients and visitors, who are making remarks about dust in our waiting room.

Day12 建议书-Marketing:Publicity


建议书和报告的格式是非常类似的,只是报告重点是描述事实数据,建议书的重点则是给出可行性方案。此部分技巧请参照报告的部分。

►  谈论现在和过去的经历及将来的计划;

►  回答简单的商务问题。

表达个人观点的内容控制在50个字之内是比较合适的。扩展话题的方法包括:

Day14 一分钟演讲-Motivation

 直击考点:

►  考查发表演讲或个人观点的能力;

►  考查语言组织能力;

 


 

1. 准备阶段

在1分钟准备阶段,利用10秒钟时间选出自己最熟悉的话题。剩下的时间列出提纲,包括开头,论点,论据和结尾,写出将要使用到的关键词汇。在考试的情况下,说英文的语速一般为一分钟100-120个词,因此演讲内容应该包含8-10个句子,每个句子15个字左右,即开头和结尾各一句,中间每个要点各3句左右即可。

2. 表达过程

►  开始之前要先介绍自己选择的是哪个主题;

►  可以偶尔看一下列出的提纲,但记得要跟面试官有眼神交流;

►  利用逻辑衔接词,使结构更清晰,如in the first place, in the second place, in the third place, for example, as a result of, because等;

►  第三个论点的补充要遵循平行原则和相关性原则,也就是说,第三个论点既要和主题相关,又不能和前两个论点有交叉重复。例如在下面这个例子中,higher salary就违反了平行原则,因为它属于financial benefits的一部分:

3. 提问环节

►  不要提问下列这种没有意义的问题,如:

 直击考点:

3. 话轮转换

►  主动发言

如果是你先发言,可以给出一个建议,然后问对方有什么意见。如果搭档被问住了,就要负责救场,可以说“Do you mean…?”, 阐述下自己的观点,同时也相当于向对方抛出了一个问题,如果对方回答“yes”,那就可以顺利过渡到下一个话题了;如果对方回答 “no”, 可以请他继续阐述自己的理由。

  对方发言

如果对方提出一个建议,要表示同意或不同意,并给出原因,然后给出你的建议。给出的建议一定要有支撑句进行论证,论证的方法我们在回答问题部分已讲过,此处不再赘述。如果碰巧你确实对这个话题不熟悉,或者没有反应过来,也可以把问题先抛给搭档,“What about you?”, 这样在搭档陈述的时候,你还可以有时间思考。如果在搭档陈述完了,你还是没有思路,还可以说“I agree with you.”, 然后paraphrase一下对方的观点,并且适当做些补充。

  控制时间

如果一个论点耗费的时间太长,出现偏题跑题的情况,可以适当打断对方,以控制对话节奏,比如可以说,“what about the second point?”,以此进行提醒和过度。

  达成一致

谈话结束的时候,一定要就所探讨的问题达成一致,并作出总结。

总之,这部分题型不仅考查语言表达能力,而且还考查交流沟通能力,要抓住一个要领,即交流要顺畅,无论如何都不能让对话停顿下来。
