上次讲到英语“不是吗”，不是每次都要说“isn’t it，isn’t it，isn’t it”，有时还得说“doesn’t it，doesn’t he，doesn’t she”，对吧？

 

我们知道了 “英语不是吗” 的第一条藏龙…does！

 

除了“isn’t it，doesn’t it”之外，我们还可以说…

 

比如说“他们是中国来的，不是吗”，英语我们说“They are from China…”，不是吗？isn’t it…？还是isn’t it吗？不不不，是…are的反义词是…对了，aren’t；主角是…they。

 

看，答案我们有了“They are from China， aren’t they”；如果主角换成you的话，那我们可以说“You are from China， aren’t you”。

 

现在来说“我们不是土豪吧”，英语的说法是“We aren’t parvenus…是吗……are we？

 

We aren’t parvenus，are we？    

 

看到了吗？除了isn’t it，doesn’t he，还有aren’t you，aren’t they，aren’t we这样的说法。

 

记得当年在一家公司上班时，有一天有个男同事过来问我说“You’re Khong，aren’t you”，我吓了一跳！原来我们马来西亚人也会用”aren’t you”这样的说法。

 

那…我们来看看“英语不是吗”的第二条藏龙咯！

 

如果看到are，接着就可以说aren’t，如果没有are呢？

 

当年教英语时，很喜欢问学生“你有抽烟的吗”英语怎么说，很多学生都会说“Are you smoke”。

 

我就认真的跟他们说“你这是在问人家‘你是烟吗’，你不把人家当人唉，小心人家的西洋老拳。”

 

于是就教他们说：“Do you smoke？“

 

“你有抽烟的You smoke！来，加强语气，说“你真的有抽烟的”；升级版：You do smoke！

 

“英语不是吗”的第二条藏龙来咯，就是：Do！

 

Do的反义词呢？ Don’t，比如说什么“Don’t say good bye“，或者“Don’t go away”！

 

现在问“你有抽烟的，不是吗”，英语的说法是“You  smoke…”不是吗？第二条藏龙do的反义词…don’t，主角you…

 

 You smoke，don’t you？

 

反过来是说法是“You don’t smoke，do you？你不抽烟的吧？”

 

其他例子：

1）            You speak English，don’t you？

2）            They don’t drive，do they？

3）            We don’t lie，do we？

好，来换主角，换成孩子们the children，问“孩子们每天都有吃早餐的，不是吗”，英语的说法是“The children eat breakfast every day，不是吗…do的反义词don’t，the children的代名词…they…

 

The children eat breakfast every day， don’t they？

 

反过来问“孩子们不常吃早餐的吧”…

The children don’t eat breakfast very often…的吧？的吧？…do..do they？

 

The children don’t eat breakfast very often， do they？

 

来，又换主角，你的父母亲，问“你父母亲住在一块的，不是吗”…

 

You parents live together，don’t…don’t they？

 

反过来问“你父母亲不住在城里的吧”，“You parents don’t live in town，do…do they？”

 

最后，来看看那些女人们，those…women！

 

中学的时候，英语老师跟我们说一个女人叫a woman，两个或以上呢？ Women!

 

每次想到women就想到…女神周慧敏！

 

问“那些女人常常购物，不是吗”，“Those women always go on shopping sprees， don’t…they？”

 

现在反过来问“那些女人不常看书的吧”，英语可以说 “Those women don’t read very often，do…do they？”

 

好了，这次我们看到了don’t you，don’t they这样的问法，这次我们用的主角都是复数名词，比如your parents，the children，those women等等；还有you，we，they等等。

 

我们也看到了“英语不是吗”的第二条藏龙是…do！
