给闺蜜的信之一

   我与闺蜜苏丝常通电子邮件，此为其中一封。08年8月下旬，我刚从澳洲返沪，是在一个泥泞的星期六下午，心情忽觉沉重，怅惘起来。墨尔本与上海这两个城市，均是我的所爱，但对她们的感情常常撕裂我，因为每次我只能呆在一个城市。于是来到上海便想念那里，而在墨尔本又牵挂着生我养我的上海故土。

   信的大意就是这些，加上点琐碎家事，与闺蜜的感情总是很好，这么多年，心里总是互相牵记。写此信的8月，闺蜜正与她丈夫在加拿大休假。之后她告诉我，她有幸见到夜半时分大海上静静悬着的一轮美丽明月，心中感动万分。

   是啊，我也在想，我的两个南北半球的家，是否亦有同样圆满皎洁的月？

   不堪盈手赠，还寝梦佳期。

Susie my dear,
 
I've just travelled back to Shanghai in the muggy afternoon on Saturday with both kids.  It's always lovely to be over in Melbourne and lovely to be back.  Those 2 cities are all my heart's delight, which have been tortured me quite a lot throughout these years with both cities feel so dear and warm to me but I can only stay with one at a time.
 
Your old friend, my other half was so funny, I have to laugh, I could not help it.  That day he was telling me (with a real serious face) that he forgot one important thing that he should let me replying your Chinese email before I left for Australia, as he did not know how to type email in Chinese, also because of the privacy of our communications, he did not want any of his company staffs to do dictation for him.
 
I remember that moment I said to him, 'Excuse me darling, so Susie doesn't read any English ah?'  Then I stared at him with a naughty sarcastic look on my face.
 
Touching his head, he went ,'Ah... ... Silly me, I could have replied her myself in English!'
 
My dear, that's typical male. 
 
Now I am heading down busy working again as usual.  Both kids love this trip very much, although I worked a lot visiting customers over there so with little time to accompany them and my parents in-laws.
 
Most Australians love the China Olympics, except for the fake singing of the red dressed little girl in the Opening Ceremony, which I think was a shame to our country, because people simply regarded this as a sign of China lied to the world.  Since all the children are lovely, it's very unfair to the real singer girl. I wrote an essay in my blog when I was in Melbourne regarding this.
 
Lovely to hear from you, and I can imagine how relax you are in Canada with your husband this time.  Enjoy.
