美国俄勒冈州波特兰市的四川地震赈灾活动

一个美国朋友告诉我，在俄勒冈州波特兰市这个小小的城市里就举行了许多赈灾活动，可见爱心是无国界的，四川地震牵动着世界各国人民的心。
1. 画家钱自奋、鲁振杰作品义卖展览
Zifen Qian and Jack Lu, China born artists will hold a special
fundraising art auction for 5.12 China earthquake relief efforts at
Portland State University Smith Center Multi-culture Center (click
for map & address) room 228 on May 31, 2008 from
3PM to 7PM.
This event is sponsored by Chinese Friendship Association of
Portland. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the earthquake
relief efforts through American Red Cross. Please support this
effort and contribute your compassion to the victims of this
disaster at this very special fundraiser event. The lowest price to
start bid is $20.
五月十二日,中国四川省纹川县发生强裂地震,波及大半个中华国土. 四川人民生命财产遭受重大损矢. 值此国难, 当看到救灾现场个个不顾自己生命危险去援手他人, 当听到全世界的炎黄儿女正在为灾区救援解囊相助, 世界无法不为中国动容. 钱自奋, 鲁振杰两位画家将以此全部义卖收入捐给受难家属.他们恳请当地各界朋友前来参加这一义卖活动. 本次义卖活动中，两位画家共展出绘画作品七十二幅，其中包括原创作品四十八幅，复制品二十四幅。 参展作品从$20起价。 所有售出金额交由美国红十字会转交中国灾区. 整个义卖展览只有四个小时, 五月三十一日下午三点至七点. 地点在波特蓝洲立大学 Smith Center, Multi-culture room 228. 此次义卖由波特兰中国联谊会协办。
2. 中国地震赈灾义演 / A Benefit Concert for China Earthquake Relief
When: 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2008
Where: First United Methodist Church, 1838 SW Jefferson St., Portland (click for map)
Donations will be collected
All proceeds go to the Red Cross earthquake relief efforts in
China
Featuring Brass Ensembles including members of the Oregon Symphony,
Oregon Ballet Theater Orchestra, Portland Opera Orchestra, Portland
Chamber Orchestra, Columbia Symphony and many
others.
3. 奥斯维戈湖区中学义演 / Lake Oswego High School Benefit Concert for China Quake Relief
When: 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2008

Ticket: $5 at the door.
