Workers collect colorful laundry from a rooftop clothesline in India.
European languages did not have a word for the color orange until the fruitof the same name arrived from Asia. The word "orange" comes form the Sanskrit naranga, which means orange tree.

在橙子由亚洲传到欧洲之前,欧洲的语言里并没有“橙色”这个单词,Orange这个词来源于古印度语,意思是橙树。
