这是我逼老二花了２小时写的游记，　她认真点也不是不会写啊。　看来逼逼还是有用的，　虽然写得比较平淡。　老大写起来倒洋洋洒洒，　一小会一大篇流水账就写完交差了 风格也太随意了。 这个假期就算是打上句号了。

This summer we went to many interesting places, including Lake Placid. Lake Placid is a nice small town and it’s very clean unlike the city. It sits in the greatly high mountains, and it’s named after one of their biggest attraction, Lake Placid. The drive to there was more than 4 hours! I felt nauseous when I was in the car. We stayed at a nice hotel with a very cozy feeling to it. It had lamps made with fake deer antlers and cushions made from leather and fur. My room, which I shared with my sister and grandma, was kind of small, but my mom’s room had a nice bathtub and a fireplace with a fake fire.

Next morning, I woke up a little late. We went to The Cottage, which is a restaurant next to Mirror Lake to eat brunch, and we all ordered sandwiches. It was good, but hard to eat because it kept on falling apart since it was so big! We drove to Whiteface Mountain, and it is fun to take the gondola to the top of the summit. Whiteface Mountain also has a 272 ft. long elevator inside it! It is a really good place to ski. At the top, you can see the other mountains and Lake Placid. Lake Placid has a really pretty sapphire color to it and it has a small island in the center. My ears became very uncomfortable because the elevation is very high.

For dinner we ate at Nicola’s, it was a Mediterranean restaurant. There are a lot of pictures painted on the walls. The pizza was very good, but I didn’t like the crust. It was a very large order, my sister and I couldn’t finish it by ourselves. After dinner, we were supposed to go shopping, but instead we went to the Olympic Center and watched people ice skate. It was the only time I saw a competition or sport not on television. It was pretty interesting, and it was free :!

The next morning, we went swimming in the indoor pool of the hotel. I finally learned how to float and I’m learning how to swim correctly. I wanted to do that the whole day. After we finished swimming, and we were very hungry, we had really large brunch at Steak and Seafood. We sat outdoors and the weather was nice but grandma didn’t like sitting in the sun. She ordered Chinese food because she hadn’t eaten Chinese food for a really long time. I ordered a yummy Pastrami Sandwich, and I want more！ After we finished eating and we were very full, we went shopping. I bought a cute baby deer toy, a glass seal and cat, and we bought a bag of gummy bears and a box of the maple candy. Then we drove back home.

This was a very fun and interesting trip and it is a very unique town. I want to go back in the winter time.
