2013年5月9日，在汶川大地震5周年纪念日即将来临之际，我在成都好友帅海夫妇的陪同下，从成都驱车前往汶川，凭吊大地震的遇难者。

是日天气阴沉，有间断小雨。天空彤云密布，压抑异常。我们从成都出发，沿都灌、都汶高速一路北上。高速公路两侧的崇山峻岭令人惊叹连连，沿途高山上的盘山公路更是让我浮想联翩，思绪重回十多年前去九寨沟的采风之旅。

当时看到此云时我心里直犯嘀咕：这不是地震云吗？今天去汶川会不会凶多吉少？

在这里我简单说一下我对地震云的看法。

尽管我们国内对地震云的看法是众说纷纭，尤其是官方和权威机构不认可地震云的说法。但我通过近三十年的拍摄和观察，尤其是一些排列有序的云彩（如鱼鳞云肋骨云等等）出现后常常出现地震，且出现地震的概率较高。因此我认为，如果一两次出现属偶然，那么经常出现联动，那就一定有必然性的关联。当然，面对地震预报这个世界难题，我们要相信科学会有解题的那一天。

事实上，当晚20:18:55在雅安市芦山县发生了3.4级地震。
