梅花山位于江苏省南京市玄武区紫金山南麓明孝陵景区内，是钟山风景名胜区重要组成部分，也是中国著名的风景游览胜地、首批国家级风景名胜区、首批国家5A级旅游景区。

       南京梅花山有“天下第一梅山”之誉，与上海淀山湖梅园、无锡梅园和武汉东湖梅园并称中国四大梅园，居四大梅园之首。

      南京植梅始于六朝时期，相沿不衰，至今已有1500多年的历史。1929年孙中山先生奉安南京中山陵后，在孙陵岗建中山陵纪念性花木区，栽培了大片梅花，后来梅园面积不断扩大，品种逐年增多，如今的梅花山植梅面积1533余亩，有近400个品种的4万余株梅树。
