贵德文庙及玉皇阁位于青海省贵德县河阴镇，始建于清嘉庆元年（1796年），清同治年间被毁，光绪三年（1877年）重修。是贵德县现存最具代表性的明清古建筑，也是青海省保护最为完整的一座，2001年被国务院列为全国重点保护文物。

       该建筑群占地面积６１亩，建筑面积４９１５平方米，是一处庙观相互毗邻，集儒、道、佛为一体，布局独特的古建筑精品。整体建筑采用中国传统的中轴线左右对称的形式，单体建筑以甘肃、青海两地做法为主，富丽堂皇，布局国内罕见，极具历史文物价值和建筑艺术价值。

      2011年8月2日，我在贵德采风，特地参观了贵德的文庙及玉皇阁，拍摄了一系列该古建筑群的照片。今先从文庙的围墙展示起，更多内容容日后再作专辑展示。

      贵德文庙的围墙与南方的建筑围墙大不相同，厚实而不失精致。外墙以独具特色的砖雕做装饰。砖雕生动精美，多以梅兰竹菊四时花卉和水果为内容，以圆形、菱形、扇形等为框，最为难得的是砖雕内容各不相同，又与江南园林围墙窗户的求异有异曲同工之妙。如此众多的围墙砖雕在西北地区出现十分罕见。
