无锡鼋头渚樱花谷内有3万多株58个品种的樱花树，樱花种植总面积达65万平方米，核心赏樱区超过20万平方米，是中国目前最大的集观赏、休闲、科普于一体的樱花游览胜地。每到樱花盛开时节，樱花谷内繁花似锦，如云似霞。春风轻拂，落英缤纷，美不胜收。
