西藏，在地域辽阔而神秘的高原上，雪峰环抱、山川雄奇、民风纯厚。很久以前，藏族同胞便在这片神奇的土地上生息繁衍，默默而又不懈地创造着自己灿烂光辉的文明。   

     西藏自古就有强烈而神秘的宗教气氛，在西藏广袤的土地上，只要有人迹所到之处，便会留下藏族同胞表示心迹的宗教艺术遗存。下列铜雕艺术作品，是西藏民间艺术家，融合藏、汉、印度、尼泊尔艺术而形成的民族艺术，展示了西藏宗教艺术特有的粗犷、神秘、优美、纯朴的神韵风采。（摘编自展览前言）
