On passionless absence         在无情感的虚空
On naked solitude              在纯净的孤独里
On the marches of death        在通往死亡的行程中

On health that’s regained     在康复的新生命中

On danger that’s past         在不堪回首已成昨日的危难时刻
On hope without memories       在把一切遗忘后兴起的希望里

By the power of the word       依赖文字的力量
I regain my life               我再次得到重生
I was born to know you         我一出生就和你相识

And to name you                也把你的名字给了你-----自由

当保尔·艾吕雅写下这首有名的"自由"时,法国正是右翼横行的时代,他写下这诗歌颂自由,反对剥削.自由是天性,是与生俱来的权利.上世纪二十年代的超现实主义思潮里,讨论自由是文学艺术界创作的主流之一.自由被歌颂被争取的同时,人们失去自由.我们生活在"自由"中,但是有几个人可以真正挺起腰杆说:我是自由的!

为了自由,真正的自由,人们过去,现在,将来都需要继续争取. 写下你的名字, 自由.
